Ms. Renu Karnad [DIN 0 0 0 08064] is a Non‑Executive Director on the HDFC AMC Board since July 4, 2000. She is also the Managing Director of one of Promoters, HDFC with effect from January 1, 2010. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Delhi and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Mumbai.
She is a Parvin Fellow – Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, Princeton University, USA. Ms. Karnad has had to her credit, numerous awards and accolades.
